Each piece in the Buckeye Collection for Boys is built from a combination of hardwoods and Acacia veneers with a Barnwood Brown finish applied using a multi-step process for durability (see Parts 1 & 2). Premium craftsmanship combines with trending design elements such as vertical and horizontal planks, solid iron drawer pull hardware with a Galvanized finish, and select pieces with corrugated metal accents and even sliding barn doors.
In this post, we'll look specifically at the most significant drawer storage pieces in this robust collection. Each of them includes anti-tip hardware for safety as well as high-quality drawer construction, including solid wood drawers with fully finished interiors. Each drawer moves easily along side-mounted, full-extension drawer glides and built-in stops.
Buckeye Collection Basic Storage Pieces
This Buckeye 5-Drawer Chest has each same-sized drawer stacked atop the other. The top drawer has a framed front, allowing it to appear distinct from the others; like the others, it includes a single bar-style drawer pull.
Just as you'd expect any bedroom furniture collection to include a chest, you also expect it to include a full-sized dresser, right? Well, the Buckeye Collection will not disappoint you then. The Buckeye 6-Drawer Dresser includes a half-dozen drawers, each identical in size and arranged in 2 neat columns of 3 drawers each. Again, the drawers along the top row have framed fronts, and each drawer has a single bar-style solid iron pull.
The Buckeye Collection Vertical Mirror can provide the perfect topper for this piece. The beveled glass mirror is framed in wood and topped with a corrugated metal panel for an added touch of rustic charm. Note that the Buckeye 6 Drawer Dresser can also be used beneath the Buckeye Low Loft Bed, instead of 2 of the smaller pieces.
Buckeye Collection Specialty Storage Piece
What's a cross between a chest and a dresser? A chesser, of course! The Buckeye Chesser is the largest drawer storage piece in this collection, with 9 drawers distributed among 4 rows. True to Buckeye Collection style, the 2 drawers in the top row boast framed fronts and have hardware that matches the other 7 drawers. The second row includes 3 smaller drawers, while the bottom rows each include 2 drawers.
The Buckeye Chesser can be topped with your choice of the Buckeye Vertical Mirror, described above, or the Chesser Hutch. The Chesser Hutch includes two small drawers with an open storage space in the center. It includes 4 removable dividers that can divide that space into 5 mail-sized slots.
