In addition to the two dresser options we looked at in Part 4, the Harbor House Collection includes 3 chest-style storage pieces. Like other pieces in this collection, these pieces come in the attractive Pebble White finish. We'll start with the smallest of the five drawer storage pieces and work our way up from there.
Harbor House Collection 3 Drawer Chest
The Harbor House 3 Drawer Chest is a perfect piece for many bedrooms. This piece incorporates unusual, undulating lines along the front, allowing the top drawer to be not only slightly shallower from top to bottom but also deeper from front to back, compared to the bottom drawers. Each of the 3 drawers is finished with 2 great-looking navigational knobs.
Harbor House Collection 5 Drawer Chest
A second chest-style piece in the Harbor House Collection, the 5 Drawer Chest has a decidedly Traditional flair. Just an inch wider than the 3 Drawer Chest, this piece includes 2 more drawers than that Chest thanks to its 15 extra inches of height. The more boxy shape is offset with gently rounded crown moulding on top along with bun-style feet. Added style is offered with the top 2 rows of drawers, with fronts that give the appearance of including 2 drawers, rather than just 1 drawer. The same navigational-style hardware used in the 3 Drawer Chest can be seen on those top 2 drawers, while the trio of larger bottom drawers have wider boat cleat hardware instead.
Harbor House Collection Door Chest
A third Harbor House piece in the tradition of a chest is designed to be able to hold not only an abundance of treasures but a variety of them as well. The largest of the 3, the Harbor House Drawer Chest is the same height as the 5 Drawer Chest but 4 inches wider. Also including 5 drawers, this piece includes added storage space behind its cabinet door. A large bottom drawer spans the impressive width of this piece and can be pulled out using the two boat-cleat-style pulls. Stacked above it, along the right side, you'll find four smaller drawers, each with a navigational knob. Rounding out the top-left section, you can use a vertically positioned boat cleat pull to open the door, complete with its vertical plank surface, revealing two adjustable shelves. As an added bonus, a clothing rod can also be pulled out from the left side to display tomorrow's chosen outfit.
