Once you’ve taken a peek at the three centerpiece options for the royal collection known as Ivy, your appetite will be whet to peruse the remaining members of the royal court. These storage pieces include elegant curves, shaped feet, and a combination of glass knobs and Dusted Pewter ring-pull hardware — all of which beautifully complement the Antique White finish used throughout the Ivy Collection. Each piece is made from Poplar solids and Birch veneers, and all drawers have English dovetail fronts, UV stained interiors, and full-extension, side-mounted metal glides. Lower levels include dust bottoms, as well. We’ll start with the largest storage pieces in the Ivy Collection: the Under-Bed Storage Drawers and Dresser.
Ivy Collection Under-Bed Storage Pieces
The Ivy Collection includes two accessory pieces that offer under-bed storage for any of the three bed styles in the collection: Low Poster, Upholstered, and Sleigh.
The Trundle Storage Unit has a face that features two rectangular panels, but the piece is actually comprised of a single drawer that can accommodate a standard foam trundle mattress. Alternatively, the trundle drawer could be used for storage, and two removable dividers are included for that use. The unit measures 75 inches wide by 41 inches deep and 13 inches high. This piece requires bed rails to be in high lock position on the accompanying bed in order to permit room for the Trundle Storage Unit to fit underneath.
The second storage option is the Under-Bed Storage Drawer, which is actually a set of 3 drawers. The frame measures 76 inches wide by 18 inches deep and 13 inches high, and two Storage Drawer units can be used together in either a Twin or Full bed.
Ivy Collection Dresser and Hutch
The classic Ivy Collection dresser measures 56 inches wide by 19 inches deep and stands 35 inches high. The seven drawers include 3 across the top and then four larger drawers, two in each of the remaining rows. There are two pieces competing for the dresser-top space of your Ivy Dresser. The first is the Ivy Mirror, which is 31 inches wide and adds 39 inches to the height of the dresser and also adds an echo of the curves you see throughout the Ivy Collection.
The second one is a bit more involved: the Ivy Hutch crosses almost the entire width of the dresser, at 53 inches wide and 12 inches deep and adds 44 inches in height to the Dresser. Without sacrificing form for function, this dresser-top piece adds a lot of places to display and store your daughter’s accessories, electronics, books, decorations, awards, or other items. With two adjustable shelves and a single fixed shelf, two small drawers, and two removable dividers, the piece includes six separate storage areas and also includes wire access.
