Similar in appearance to the Arianna or Camille collections, the Ivy Collection provides a look that’s at once classy, casual, and chic. This refined beauty of a furniture collection features S-shaped ogee curves along with an Antique White Linen painted finish, curved drawer fronts, shaped feet, and vintage-looking fluted glass knobs to offset custom ring-pull hardware in Dusted Pewter. A few upholstered pieces in Tea Stained Linen Fabric add even more luxury to this already lavish set. The beauty doesn’t stop with exteriors, either: each piece is crafted from Poplar solids, paired with Birch veneers.
Ivy Collection Low Poster Bed
The Low Poster Bed heads off the Ivy Collection by offering an impressive twin silhouette with its elegant headboard-footboard pairing. The low poster style offers an understated association with royalty. The curvy lines of a tiara seem embedded in this bed’s design. The look extends from head to toe, as it were, with the ogee styling of the headboard and footboard flanked by the stylish curves of the posts, which extend to the rounded bun-style feet on which the bed sets. Between the posts and headboard or footboard, there is space that would allow the lines to be accentuated, especially with a bright or dark wall or bedding in the backdrop. The Twin-sized bed measures 42 inches wide by 82 inches deep and 54 inches high, while the Full-sized version measures the same depth but 56 inches wide and 56 inches high.
Ivy Collection Sleigh Bed
If you’re looking for something a bit less ornate than the Low Poster style, the Sleigh Bed might be for you. The headboard isn’t quite as curvy but does display a rounded, elegant top line. The foot board is rectangular, and a panel design helps pull the two distinct shapes together. An added touch to offset the less feminine lines of the footboard is a ogee curve at the bottom, hinting at lace that might be hanging below the frame. The Twin-sized Sleigh Bed measures 41 inches wide by 89 inches deep and 52 inches high, and the Full-sized Sleigh Bed measures the same depth but is 56 inches wide by 54 inches high.
Ivy Collection Upholstered Bed
Offering a more casual allure, the Upholstered Bed has a simple, rounded headboard design that’s echoed in both the footboard outline and that of the upholstery on both the headboard and the footboard. Since the Tea Stained Linen is a few shades darker than the Antique White Linen painted finish, it offers the effect of an afternoon shadow playing across the surfaces of the bed. The effect is charming, to be sure.
